In The Media: ABS-CBN News features The Studio Bridge supporting Bantay Bata 163
In celebration of Bantay Bata 163’s 26th founding anniversary, The Studio Bridge expressed its advocacy support to the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. that was aired across all online channels on 13 February 2023.
Launched on 14 February 1997, as a helpline, Bantay Bata has broadened its scope and has helped thousands of children whether through calls and counseling, or medical assistance and housing/reintegration.
The Social Welfare Programme aims to protect disadvantaged and at-risk children through a nationwide network of social services. Among these services is the national emergency hotline, ‘163’, which allows people to call in and report incidents of child abuse, exploitation and neglect.
Bantay Bata has offices in the major cities in the Philippines which allows it to respond immediately to the emergency calls. They are also able to offer online counseling for child-family relationships and assist victims of child sexual exploitation. The program also works with the national and local government agencies, such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
From its establishment, Bantay Bata has become one of the most widely supported causes in the Philippines.

Here’s the transcribed greetings in support of this momentous event:
Ako si Freddie Lacorte, kinatawan ng ‘The Studio Bridge’. We have been a supporter of Bantay Bata in the recent months and will continue to advocate towards childcare and protection in the years to come.
I am Freddie Lacorte, a representative of ‘The Studio Bridge’. We have been a supporter of Bantay Bata in the recent months and will continue to advocate towards childcare and protection in the years to come.
We are a group of creative individuals supporting local and foreign businesses across the globe. We (in one with Bantay Bata 163) are creating an artbook, modern educational videos and partaking volunteered initiatives for the children. I, along with my colleagues, aim to extend our support the best that we can.
On your 26th year, happy anniversary, Bantay Bata.
